A panoramic view of Cabrillo Beach in San Pedro, Los Angeles. The beach is divided into two curved strands, one on each side of the breakwater. In between the two stretches of sand is a picnic area and the Cabrillo Beach Bath House. A parking lot is on the far side of the picnic area and is filled with parked cars. The beach crowd is fairly thin, with few people in the water. There are numerous ships of various sizes in the distance (inside the breakwater). Writing in white at the bottom reads "4-8-'34".
